The RoboRangers, a team of young engineers, achieved a historic “triple crown” victory at the FIRST LEGO League Semi-Finals, demonstrating exceptional talent and the impact of STEM education. They won the Coach’s Award for mentorship, the Robot Performance Award for highest robot score, and the Semi-Final Champions Award for overall excellence, impressing judges with teamwork, innovation, and commitment to FLL Core Values. FIRST LEGO League is a global STEM program for youth aged 9-16, fostering passion for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through robot challenges and Innovation Projects. The RoboRangers’ success reflects their dedication, innovative spirit, and embodiment of FLL Core Values. Their achievement highlights the transformative power of STEM education in developing critical thinkers and problem-solvers and inspires other young people to explore STEM. RoboRangers had the opportunity to participate in the demo organized by the SIRIUS team.
The team had the opportunity to test the first version of this season's robot and to win the title of partner in the finalist alliance.
The FIRST Tech Challenge European Premier Event featured 96 teams from 25 countries, including four from the Republic of Moldova.
